Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website https://www.athensfoodieguide.com (the “Service”), operated by Athens Foodie Guide, owned by Omri Nachum.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Services Provided

Athens Foodie Guide offers:

  • Digital products (including maps, guides, and travel content)

  • Tour registration services in Athens

All services are subject to availability and may be updated or modified at any time.

3. User Accounts

Users may create an account to access purchased content.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities under your account.

4. Digital Products (Maps & Guides)

4.1 Access

Upon successful payment, users will receive access to digital content via their account or other delivery method.

4.2 No Right of Withdrawal / Refunds

Due to the nature of digital products:

By purchasing digital content, you expressly agree that access is provided immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the content has been accessed.

Therefore, all purchases of digital products are final and non-refundable.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely through PayPal.

We do not store or process payment details. PayPal handles all payment information in accordance with its own policies.

6. Tour Registration

Users may register for tours through the website.  At this stage:

  • Registration does not constitute a confirmed booking
  • No payment is required at the time of registration
  • Further confirmation and payment details (if applicable) will be communicated separately
  • 72 Hours before the tour start time, customers will receive a deposit payment request of 20€
  • The deposit payment will be deducted from the total payment at the day of the tour
  • Customers may pay at the day of the tour with cash or by card (through a  smartphone)

We reserve the right to accept or decline any registration.

7. Cancellation Policy (Tours)

Since no payment is required at the time of registration, you are welcome to cancel your booking at any time. We simply ask that you let us know at least 24 hours before the tour begins.

If a deposit has already been paid:

    • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance: You will receive a full refund of your deposit.

    • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour: The deposit is non-refundable.

Please note that we reserve the right to modify or cancel tours due to availability or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will always do our best to find a solution that works for you, and a full deposit refund will be made.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including maps, guides, text, images, and branding, is the property of Athens Foodie Guide and is protected by copyright laws.

Users may not:

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Share

  • Resell

any content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information provided. However:

  • We do not guarantee that all content is error-free or up to date

  • Food recommendations and experiences may vary

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential damages

  • Personal experiences during tours

  • Actions of third-party providers (e.g., restaurants)

10. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Respect local laws and regulations

  • Inform us of any relevant dietary restrictions or health conditions

11. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable international standards and the laws of the European Union, where relevant.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
